As his battled these demons it led him to make two attempts on his life. The book tells the story in full transparency and is aimed at giving readers the idea of the ripple effect mental illness has on the individual and the community around the individual.
The book works it way through Shane’s journey and has some great ways for people to get through their own mental health battles.
In Shanes own words, “I’m now living my dream, and I want everyone else to know that they can too”
Reviews
“Seven chapters down. Great work mate, such an open and honest story. Looking forward to reading more of it”
“ Incredibly vulnerable, epically raw and unbelievably inspiring. Shane connects honestly with to the little boy terrified of himself and the man struggling to find peace of mind.
I’ve never wanted to run and sit in the darkness, under the bed and, in the cupboard, with someone so badly. It was absolutely heartbreaking to feel the utter loneliness of suicidal ideation.
This is the book that will let the little kid in all of know, eventually, and with enough work, it will all be ok, even when it’s not”
