A diagnosis of ADHD in Elyssa’s early twenties gave an explanation for so much of her childhood and teenage years.
At sixteen Elyssa reached a critical point in her life and felt the need to be physically hurt rather than to be where she was.
In this podcast we talk about the early memories where Elyssa felt ‘different’ and how that played out over the years. We also chat about what she does now as an advocate for mental health and ADHD.
Elyssa shares her most vulnerable side with an aim to help other people not feel so alone.
