The Power, Strength & Vulnerability Cup

by | Dec 4, 2019

It’s been a while since I have posted on the website, but I have been working away at some big things.

The first thing is a charity cricket match which will become an annual event.

The game will feature 30 of the best local cricketers in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Featuring players from 13 different clubs including Victorian Premier Cricket clubs, Ringwood Rams and Camberwell Magpies.

The event will be on Sunday the 16th of February and is all about bringing awareness to mental health and the fact, it is ok to speak up and get help for your mental and emotional wellbeing.

In the past 6 weeks, 30+ businesses and individuals have jumped on board to sponsor the players and the event which shows how much the community agrees that it is ok to speak up. It shows how we are all human.

What I love most is the fact that players who go hard at each other on Saturday will put all that aside to stand together to show everyone, you are not alone. Help is available and you just need to ask.

If you want more details about the event, please go to the link – https://www.facebook.com/events/414175789529384/
Click attending and we will see you on the day.

The players will be playing for the Power, Strength & Vulnerability Cup and lining up for team beyondblue and team Outside the Locker Room- 2 great mental health organisations.

It is sure to be an incredible day.
